Comprehensive Approach for Families

People are the most important thing for us! That's why we meet 3 basic needs that every family should enjoy.

Physical Needs

In all our projects, the main priority is physical needs, offering those in need food, clothing, energy and water for homes, as well as heating systems according to the circumstances and family.

Social Needs

We consider another very important part is creating activities focused on each social group, starting with children, with educational games, until adults with talks about health and a healthy lifestyle.

Spiritual Needs

In each project we have had support from local churches in each location. Part of our team has theological training being a priority to meet the spiritual needs of each person we help.

MEET 2025 Project
2025

#nextMEET25

our fifth edition

With the same spirit of service that has driven us in each edition, we have carried out the fifth edition, #nextMEET2025.

From 7 to 15 February 2025, 36 volunteers worked with dedication and commitment in various areas of the project, putting themselves at the disposal of the families most in need in the vicinity of Iasi, Romania.

We have focused more on education, offering talks in schools and institutes. In addition, we have had two teams local community service, helping in the cleaning and repair of two houses, fixing defects to make them habitable and installing wood-burning stoves to provide warmth in the cold months.

Once again, we have been able to see how God has been with us in each step and decision, helping us to face and overcome challenges, once again confirming that service transforms both those who receive it and those who offer it.

MEET 2024 Project
2024

#nextMEET24

our fourth edition

From 9 to 18 February 2024, driven by the same desire to serve and be a response to the needs of others, we carried out our fourth edition of MEET. This time we went to Calarasi, Moldavia, where we worked with passion and commitment in 4 main areas:

  • Visit and support disadvantaged families
  • Children's activities and seminars for adults
  • Health Expo
  • Local community service

In this edition we have a team of 60 volunteers from different churches in Spain, who left their mark in this region of Moldavia. Once again, we confirm that service transforms not only those who receive it, but also those who offer it.

MEET 2023 Project
2023

#nextMEET23

our third edition

Despite the global pandemic situation covid-19, we did not give up and in 2023 we returned with our third project.

We talk about #nextMEET2023, a solidarity trip we made from 17 to 26 February 2023 in the Cahul district, in the south of Moldavia.

The objectives of this trip were to attend families with basic / primary needs, Tinserv, Organization of three urban schools and Mount an Expo Bible.

MEET 2019 Project
2019

#MEET2019

our second project

We marked so much the first MEET experience, leaving us with the desire for more, that we decided to get involved again, and this time with the desire to form a community and a long-term altruistic initiative. We act in 5 locations in the Vaslui district, Romania, and we count on the help of 38 volunteers.

Our motto: #MEET2019 "Together towards the sky"

MEET 2017 Project
2017

#MEET2017

our first project

Starting from the desire of several young people to do something for others, directly, facing face to face the needs of those who do not have as many opportunities as us, MEET was born. We have 35 volunteers from different churches, and we lend our help for 9 days in 6 locations in the region of Galați, Romania.

Our motto: Similar to Him

Testimonials

Discover how our projects have impacted the lives of our volunteers.

  • MEET, as a concept of meeting young people from different places and even countries, is good.

But MEET is, above all, meeting oneself and discovering a facet that you will never want to leave!

Putting oneself at the service of others, responding to their needs and seeing that your grain of sand counts, is priceless.

We all need each other, and that's why we will return with #MEET2023!

  • MEET arose from the desire to unite young people. We are all different, but together, and with the help of God, we can make GREAT things.

In February 2017 we could see the smiles of the children and families that needed our help.

Sometimes with simple things you can touch the heart of people. They managed to touch our hearts.

#MEET2023 is a new project, and therefore a new challenge, that will bring us new experiences.

  • MEET is the meeting of people with new ideas to improve our world. It is the ideal place to put aside all prejudices and try new things, meet new people and above all get to know yourself better.

Aristotle said that the essence of life is to serve others and do good.

After the experience of the first MEET project, I was able to experience that essence.

"One by one we are all mortal. Together, we are eternal."

  • It is very difficult to summarize MEET in a few words.

It is like describing love, friendship, a smile, love, crying, or the taste of victory.

If you have another day of life, it is not because you need it, but because others need you.

    This is very gratifying.

  • Words do not have the ability to transmit what you can feel helping others without thinking about yourself. There is a before and after in your life; each minute, each hour, each day serving others, you realize that the one who wins is you. Just offer, giving your time, your attention, you will receive much more than you imagine. Does it sound selfish?

Yes, we are selfish, because we want to help more people and in this way help ourselves. And that is why we want to continue, because there are many people who need us.

  • #nextMEET enters that category of disruptive life experiences. It is a perfect opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and delve into the incredible world of humanitarian aid. For me, this type of projects are the deepest way to live the verse "Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo".

The message we want to transmit is clear and direct: make a difference wherever you are, without being hindered by selfishness, interest or comfort.

    The world needs your help!

  • I experienced a little of the sadness that Jesus felt, seeing so many people in need, children crying with joy for being able to eat a simple banana, children having to give up school at an early age to work because they didn't have money, families with problems, destroyed, without hope...

MEET is not only helping families and giving them a material hand, but trying to bring them hope of salvation. What Jesus shared with each of us.

MEET is an experience that every young person should experience someday.

  • I loved this trip because the relationship that has formed between the young volunteers and the team. Together, we have shared moments of joy, sacrifice and learning, which have united us even more as a family.

Each encounter with the families has shown us the love and goodness of God in a practical way, and has reminded us of the importance of serving and loving others.

NextMEET has left a deep mark on my relationship with God, and I feel a strong desire to return and share everything I have received.

  • For me nextMEET is passing from theory to practice!

Through this project I could feel useful, as part of something bigger, I could offer food to the needy, I could take the gospel to those who do not know it, I could visit people who are alone, I could meet wonderful people who share the same desire to serve, and, in addition, I could grow and see that living a life with meaning and sense is as easy as putting yourself at the service of others.
